Since their initial launch in 2013, Hikvision's Turbo HD solutions have fundamentally transformed analog surveillance through the integration of the open standard HDTVI (High Definition Transport Interface). Based on the original analog transmission media, the HDTVI standard allows for the transmission of HD video over a coax-based system over longer distances with greater reliability.
In addition to high resolution, the analog cameras capture full-color HD images both day and night, while the PIR cameras offer a combined solution with and without video technology. With Turbo HD, Hikvision sets new standards in the field of HD-over-coax solutions by equipping the analog world with superior image quality and more intelligent features.
Hikvision's Turbo HD cameras can be categorized into five major series, each offering different functions and capabilities: Ultra, Pro, Value, IoT, and Special.
