Since its initial market launch in 2013, Hikvision's Turbo HD solutions have fundamentally transformed analog surveillance through the integration of the open standard HDTVI (High Definition Transport Interface). Based on the original analog transmission media, the HDTVI standard allows for the transmission of HD video over a coaxial-based system over greater distances with higher reliability.
In addition to high resolution, the analog cameras capture full-color HD images both day and night, and the PIR cameras provide a combined solution with and without video technology. With Turbo HD, Hikvision sets new standards in the field of HD-over-coaxial solutions by equipping the analog world with superior image quality and more intelligent features.
