Polyimide adhesive tape is a high-performance layer of thermosetting silicone adhesive that will not char even at high temperatures. The tape is specifically designed for high-temperature applications where mechanical, electrical, and adhesive properties must be maintained, such as coil and capacitor windings. The inherent physical toughness of the material makes it well suited for a variety of tasks, including covering printed circuit boards prior to soldering or gold plating, anchoring cables and windings, and protecting against chemical attack on components. This insulating tape is ideal for covering at high temperatures, leaves no adhesive residue, and is suitable for covering terminals of printed circuit boards. It offers very high-temperature resistance of 250°C for surface protection and high-temperature terminal connections up to 200°C. It is temperature resistant and clean to remove.
