Screw Locking - medium/high strength. Ideal for screws in pre-assembled parts. Loctite 290 is a medium/high-strength liquid thread locker designed to secure and seal threaded connections. Due to its low viscosity and high capillary action, the product penetrates the thread gaps without the need to disassemble the connections first. It cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces and prevents self-loosening and leaks caused by shocks and vibrations. The product can also fill porosities in welds, cast, and sintered metal parts.
