Product details

The lightweight multipurpose helicopter Gazelle was developed jointly by France and the United Kingdom in the 1960s and made its first flight in 1967. It was mass-produced in the early 1970s by Aérospatiale in collaboration with Westland Helicopters in two main versions, SA 341 and SA 342, with the majority of production intended for military purposes. The SA 341 F, manufactured for the French Army, was the first model equipped with wire-guided HOT missiles. The last military versions were the Astazou XIV with the turboprop SA 342 L1 and the SA 342 M, which were built for the French Army Aviation.
