In April 1963, the first two SA 3160 Alouette III helicopters of the Gendarmerie, No. 1097 F-MJBE and No. 1098 F-MJBF, presented in this set, were recorded at the Lyon-Bron helicopter base. Known for its agility and suitability for night vision flights, this aircraft was considered ideal for surveillance and rescue missions at that time.
