The prototype of the Mirage III E undertook its test flights on April 5, 1961. It is a version developed for ground attack and tactical support. The Mirage III is a reconnaissance version equipped with 5 cameras. The Mirage 5 is a significantly simplified version of the Mirage III E, specifically developed for export.
