The Citroën had only one door on the right-hand side, the driver's seat was fixed, but the passenger seat could be moved on rails. The waterproof soft top was supported on wooden posts and the 850 cc engine could accelerate the car up to 60 kilometres per hour. The other hotel guests are picked up from the railway station in the Citroen C4 "Splendid Hotel". This minibus, which belonged to the hotel, drove the guests and their luggage back and forth between the railway station and the hotel. With technology that was completely new at the time and inspired by American construction techniques, the C.4 was an extremely robust vehicle, both in terms of the engine and the bodywork. The taxable usable output of 9 hp increased to 10 hp, then remained unchanged for a long time and was finally reduced again to 9 hp. The wide range of bodywork offered by CITROËN meant that there was something for every need: saloons, 4- and 6-seaters, coupés, convertibles, roadsters, commercial roadsters, vans, minibuses/taxis, etc.
