WiFi Protected Setup supports automatic setup of encrypted connections. This ultra-compact USB 2.0 stick allows for a wireless connection of a PC or notebook with WLAN routers or access points in infrastructure mode. It also enables connection to other WLAN devices without a router or access point in ad-hoc mode. The device is compatible with IEEE802.11n (150 Mbps), IEEE802.11g (54 Mbps), IEEE802.11b (11 Mbps), and WiFi. It enables wireless encryption via WPA/WPA2 and 128/64 bit WEP. With a data rate of up to 150 Mbps, it automatically adjusts to the maximum possible speed according to reception conditions and remote station. The high data rate supports applications such as video/audio streaming, network gaming, and Internet telephony.
