The BEKA EN54-7 wireless smoke detector with siren is a bidirectional wireless smoke detector according to DIN EN 54-7, featuring an integrated signaling device and threshold tracking. It provides dirt level and battery capacity evaluation as well as disturbance detection for EMC. The detector is used for smoke detection and can be integrated into the fire detection system. Deactivation of smoke detection via central settings as a day-night function is possible.

Area or individual detector alarm is triggered via the integrated signaling device through the central menu. The learning mode with optical display on the detector shows the range display and the learning field strength at the central unit. After a break in the bidirectional query interval of over 300 seconds with the central unit, the detector switches to an autonomous mode, ensuring acoustic signaling in case of fire in its area.

The sensor head replacement occurs every 8 years. After the sensor head replacement cycle, no settings at the central unit are required, as it automatically recognizes the type of the new sensor head. If there is a deviation from the previous sensor head, this must be confirmed at the central unit.
