Grothe Reader P40 silver

The modern P40 reader is a two-wire bus reader for short-range applications. Thanks to its slim design of 47 mm, surface mounting can be easily accomplished even in spaces with limited room. The two LEDs on the top of the reader also serve as optical signal indicators and can provide information about granted or denied access through color changes when an identification medium is presented. Additionally, the buzzer emits an acoustic sound for granted or denied access. The protection ratings IP65 and IK10 highlight its suitability for outdoor use, even in harsh conditions. With the proprietary FDI protocol, the security of the entire access control system is ensured. The reader is compatible with the iPassan and Easy Door controllers. Access control with iPassan only: In the iPassan software, the LEDs can be individually managed, deactivated, or reconfigured. The same applies to the integrated buzzer.
