You can view the livestream and snapshots of the last 3 hours at any time. So you know what you missed. With the Nest app you can turn off the bell and continue to receive notifications on your smartphone. For example, this will not wake the baby or startle the dog. Nest Hello can have your Google Home devices notify you that someone is at the door.
