You can access 30 days of event video history with a Nest Aware subscription or upgrade to 60 days of video history with Nest Aware Plus. However, regardless of whether you choose the wired installation or the battery version, the Nest Doorbell (Battery) cannot record 24/7 video history. If you choose the battery installation for your Nest Doorbell (Battery), you will receive notifications on your phone and on your Google Assistant-enabled speakers when someone presses the button. Your existing wired doorbell chime will not ring. If you select the optional wired installation for your Nest Doorbell (Battery), you can connect it to your existing doorbell.
