For interference-free DVB-T / DVB-T2 HD reception, LTE wireless frequencies, which are used for mobile Internet (4G), partially overlap with current DVB-T frequencies, causing reception issues. In some test sites, DVB-T reception is already limited due to this interference. The blocking filter allows for the full use of DVB-T again.
