LSZH halogen-free, copper AWG 24 Cat. 8.1 cables are used for 25/40GBASE-T applications, with a transmission range of up to 30 metres and a transmission power of up to 2 GHz (four times the bandwidth of Cat. 6A). They are suitable for 25/40G Base-T Ethernet networks (40 Gigabit capable) and are backwards compatible. The CAT 8.1 channel is 100% tested (enclosed test report + serial number). The maximum bandwidth is 2000 MHz / 2 GHz. The new type of RJ45 Cat. 8 industry-standard plug features 50µ gold-plated contact surfaces (PINs). It includes a shielded RJ45 plug with a latching lug and latching lug protection. The double-shielded LAN/network cable has wire pair shielding (PIMF - pairs in metal foil) and overall shielding (braiding).
