With the Keystone system, there are no limits to installation. Take advantage of the modular connection system for standardized connectors and rectangular module sockets with ports in a grid size of 14.9 × 17.0 mm. The snap-in system allows for a wide variety of connection techniques, such as coaxial sockets for IEC or F connectors, RJ45 sockets for CAT 5, CAT 6, CAT 6A, speaker connectors, RCA sockets, screw and clamp connectors, as well as USB, fiber optic, and HDMI sockets. The individual Keystone modules are universally applicable and interchangeable. The LAN socket features a robust zinc die-cast housing for optimal transmission of electrical signals. The CAT-6 panel mount socket has strain relief via cable ties and is suitable for Power over Ethernet PoE+ according to IEEE 802.3at. The RJ45 socket is designed for installation in Keystone patch panels, network sockets, and enclosures, and is primarily used in network installation and for the termination of permanently installed network cables. The field-terminable RJ45 socket is not suitable for stranded wire, and the RJ45 connections are TIA 568B color-coded.
