Weather sensor with weather central for KNX - The components of the weather station, consisting of a weather sensor and weather central, cannot be used individually. The weather sensor features the following sensors: brightness from three directions (90° apart, cardinal directions: East, South, West), temperature, wind speed, and a precipitation sensor with integrated heating. The sensor values are transmitted by the weather sensor to the weather central, which evaluates the sensor information and sends it onto the KNX bus. The weather sensor can communicate with up to 20 weather centrals. It has 10 sensor channels for wind, precipitation, temperature, and brightness. Within the sensor channels, logical AND/OR connections can be created to evaluate multiple sensor values together. There is a delay for evaluating all sensors to ensure reliable functionality. There are 8 sun protection channels for 8 facades with an automatic sun protection function, including an evaluation delay to ensure reliable sun protection operation. There are 2 objects for external brightness sensors. A predefined day-night object for switching between day/night operation, including a separate activation/deactivation function via the communication object. A communication object that informs about communication disturbances of the weather sensor with the weather central. Compatible with KNX Data Secure. Connection and branching terminal for KNX included in the delivery.
