It also includes a high-sensitivity GPS and GLONASS receiver with a quad-helix antenna, ensuring excellent reception. The rugged and waterproof GPSMAP 64s comes equipped with a barometric altimeter and a 3-axis compass. It can wirelessly connect to your smartphone to support live tracking and smart notifications. The GPSMAP 64 has a built-in electronic 3-axis compass with tilt compensation, which indicates direction even when you are stationary and not holding the compass level. The barometric altimeter determines geographic elevation based on changes in air pressure. You can also use it to monitor barometric pressure changes over time, keeping you informed of all weather changes.
