Garmin Gps 72

The GPS 72 is an affordable solution for land and water navigation using precise GPS positions with WAAS corrections (Wide Area Augmentation System). As the successor to the popular GPS 12, the GPS 72 features a large display with 4 shades of gray and a dedicated GOTO button. The GPS 72 has 1 MB of internal user memory where Points-of-Interest data can be stored. This data can optionally be purchased on the European CD Roads & Signs. The factory-installed 1 MB memory includes a database of cities worldwide (with populations over 200,000) and nautical navigation aids, such as lighthouses, buoys, sound signals, and pilings. The GPS 72 differs from the GPS 76 in the following ways: lower screen resolution of 120 x 160 pixels instead of 180 x 240 pixels. The GPS 72 does not have an external antenna connection.
