Futaba Surface gyro Aero gyro GY

The Gyro GYA460 from Futaba is a flight attitude control and stabilization system for model aircraft. In addition to the well-known flight attitude support provided by three gyroscopes, the GYA460 also includes three acceleration sensors for position correction. This ensures that the model remains stable not only in its flight attitude but also maintains a consistent flight path and altitude even in windy conditions. In beginner mode, the maximum angle of inclination is limited to about 80°. In case of loss of control, the pilot can simply release the control sticks, and the model will automatically transition to horizontal flight. This rescue feature is disabled in gyro mode, allowing the model to perform corresponding aerobatics. In gyro-off mode, the gyro support is turned off, and the model relies entirely on the pilot's skills. The GYA460 is suitable for model aircraft with two aileron servos as well as delta wing (elevon) configurations.
