Product details
The Symo GEN24 is available as a three-phase inverter without hybrid functions, featuring an integrated basic emergency power supply (PV Point). The Fronius upgrade program allows for the activation of the battery connection and the full backup emergency power function. This transforms the Symo GEN24 into the GEN24 Plus through a chargeable software update (by the installer) in Fronius Solar.web. This offers maximum flexibility and future-proofing, as the battery storage and emergency power function can be retrofitted at any time.
Other features include:
- Standard connection to WLAN and Ethernet
- Energy management with 4 digital IOs to increase self-consumption
- Multi Flow Technology for parallel energy flows, even during emergency power supply
- Dynamic Peak Manager for optimal yields in shaded areas
- SuperFlex Design for maximum freedom in PV system design
- Solar.web as an evaluation and analysis tool for greater transparency
- A wide range of open interfaces for simple integration of third-party components
- Active Cooling Technology for a long service life of the inverter
Interfaces include WLAN, 2x Ethernet LAN, 6 digital inputs/outputs, 6 digital inputs for connection to ripple control receivers, and energy management. Emergency shutdown (WSD) and 2x RS485 for Modbus RTU SunSpec (third-party provider), Fronius Smart Meter, and Fronius Ohmpilot are also available.
