The Foscam SD8EP is a high-resolution 8 MP surveillance camera with 4x optical zoom for security monitoring both indoors and outdoors. The 8-megapixel UHD video quality ensures sharp and detailed images. The high 4K resolution captures every detail, which is especially important for recognizing people and objects. The High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology enhances image quality in challenging lighting conditions, ensuring that images are always clear and precise. With the 4x optical zoom, distant objects can be viewed closer without loss of quality. This is particularly useful for identifying details from a great distance or gaining an overview of a larger area.

The camera features a night vision range of up to 50 meters and four powerful infrared LEDs that provide clear images even in complete darkness. The Foscam SD8EP PTZ surveillance camera has a pan range of 355° and a tilt range of 90°, offering extensive coverage. The camera can automatically track moving individuals, enabling seamless monitoring.

The Foscam SD8EP employs advanced algorithms to distinguish between people and vehicles. This intelligent detection minimizes false alarms and ensures that only relevant alerts are sent. When the surveillance camera detects human movement, it automatically follows the moving person to ensure they remain in view. Once the person disappears from sight, the camera returns to its default position to continue monitoring the most important area. The camera is equipped with an alarm siren and two powerful spotlights that are activated as soon as motion is detected, deterring unauthorized individuals.
