Fibaro Door and Window Sensor

The Fibaro Door and Window Sensor is a battery-operated, Z-Wave compatible reed sensor. It combines three devices into one easy-to-use product (reed, binary, and temperature sensor). The sensor can be used to monitor the status (open/closed) of doors, windows, window blinds, or garage doors, for example. Additionally, this sensor allows you to integrate any sensors with a binary output, such as motion detectors, flood sensors, or alarm systems, into the Z-Wave network.

The product consists of two elements, one of which is attached to the movable part of the window or door. The other part is mounted on the frame. The sensor must be included in the Z-Wave network using a remote control or another Z-Wave controller. When an action is detected by the sensor, it sends a signal to the Z-Wave main controller.
