The Ethernet routing switches of the 4900 series are powerful next-generation Ethernet switch platforms with numerous features specifically optimized for the needs of mainstream businesses. The new ERS 4900 products integrate Fabric Connect capabilities in a flexible and reliable form factor. ERS 4900 can be deployed standalone or configured as a stackable chassis system. The energy-saving features are on average 36% more energy-efficient than competitor solutions, reducing power consumption for switches and IP phones without sacrificing telephony connectivity.
