The economical complete set of SFP+ 10G WDM 1270/1330nm SM 2 km consists of two single-mode SFP modules that operate bidirectionally over a single cable at wavelengths of 1270/1330 nm over distances of up to 2 km. The electrical interface of the SFP 10G fiber optic module complies with the electrical specifications of SFI. The receiver processes serial optical data at a speed of 10 Gbit/s into serial electrical data PECL/CML.

The single-mode SFP module is equipped with a two-wire serial I2C interface, which is used for serial identification, digital diagnostics, and control of the module. The enhanced interface for monitoring digital diagnostics allows real-time access to the optical SFP module, enabling monitoring of received optical power, laser bias current, and laser output power.

Single-mode SFP+ modules are designed for operation with 10 Gbps Ethernet, routers, and SONET/SDH switches, as well as with 10G/8.5G/4.25G/2.125G/1.0625G fiber connections and other optical connections at a speed of 10 Gbps.
