The pigtail with SC/APC connector is mounted on a G.657A1 single-mode fiber designed for FTTx technology. This fiber features a reduced bending radius without increasing attenuation, which is a crucial property for building FTTx networks due to the numerous directional changes of the optical line and the small size of cabinets and distribution boxes. The pigtail is primarily used for customer cable terminations in customer sockets and in the final distribution element.
