Product details

The CAT6 UTP (U/UTP) cable is a commonly used network cable for creating local area networks. Category 6 encompasses cabling that meets requirements of up to 250 MHz (bandwidth around 200 Mb/s). It enables the implementation of Gigabit Ethernet (4x 250 MHz = 1 GHz) and transmissions of ATM 622 Mb/s. The cable consists of 4 twisted pairs to eliminate electromagnetic interference. The conductors are made of pure copper and are insulated with a HDPE layer of 0.92 ± 0.03 mm in diameter, providing increased density and high dielectric insulation. On the outside, it has a PVC sheath with a thickness of 0.50 ± 0.05 mm.

This robust cable is designed for indoor installations. It is intended for use within buildings and is ideal for installations in offices or homes. Twisted pairs are also commonly used in CCTV installations, where a single cable can transmit video signals from multiple cameras along with power.
