The Comet Z-Wave Plus is an energy-saving controller compatible with the Z-Wave wireless standard. This controller allows for the expansion of the Z-Wave smart home network with an energy-efficient component. Depending on the mode, the energy-saving controller can be used as a heating thermostat or, when regulation is disabled, act purely as a valve actuator. The temperature measured by the internal sensor or the position of the valve actuator can be reported back to the corresponding gateway via Z-Wave. Equipped with FLiRS (Frequently Listening Receiver Slave), the energy-saving controller responds to incoming commands, such as temperature changes, with a particularly short latency time.
