Homematic IP Temperature / Humidity Sensor for Outdoor Use, Anthracite

The Homematic IP temperature and humidity sensor is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and monitors outdoor temperature and humidity. The compact sensor measures temperatures between minus 40 °C and plus 85 °C, as well as relative humidity from 0 to 99%. When used in conjunction with other Homematic IP devices, it offers numerous practical applications. For example, the sensor can be used for ventilation or dehumidification controls, as a frost guard for heating sensitive greenhouse plants, and in many other scenarios. Additionally, the collected weather data is displayed and analyzed in the Homematic IP app. Power is supplied by two LR6 batteries, which can typically power the sensor for five years. The necessary mounting materials are included.
