Product details
The Homematic IP Wired Presence Detector reliably detects the presence of individuals by capturing the slightest movements and additionally measuring ambient brightness. The sensor can detect both coarse movements (such as people walking) over a wide area and the finest movements (e.g., hand movements on a keyboard) in close proximity using a high-quality 4-element sensor. This allows it to control actuators that can switch the lights in a room or at a workstation or trigger an alarm via the HmIP(W) system. With a detection range of up to 7 meters (at a mounting height of 2.7 meters) and a detection angle of 105°, the presence detector can be optimally adapted to local conditions. The integrated brightness sensor can also be evaluated independently to assess room brightness and can be used, for example, with switching commands to control basic or night lighting. The detector can be installed either on a flush-mounted installation/switch box or on the HmIPW installation adapter for ceiling mounting. Connection and power supply are provided via the HmIP-Wired bus cable. Presence detector for integration into the HmIPW home automation system. Differentiated detection of even the smallest movements. Detection range: 7 m, detection angle 105°. Additional measurement of ambient brightness, separately evaluable. Operates on the HmIP-Wired bus. Can be mounted on flush-mounted switch/installation boxes or HmIPW installation adapter (ceiling mount). A Homematic IP Wired Access Point is required for operation. The Wired system can be controlled via the Smart Home Central CCU3, through many partner solutions, or directly via the Homematic IP Cloud. The joint operation of Homematic IP wireless and wired components occurs through the combination of the Homematic IP Wired Access Point DRAP with the Homematic IP Access Point AP or locally with the Smart Home Central CCU3. VDE certified.
