EPE-24R is a small and compact standalone product. With the Power over Ethernet function, it can easily extend the wired connection distance through the Ethernet cable, avoiding long power lines that may pose safety risks. EPE-24R offers a 24V/1A power supply with standard pin definitions for Ethernet cables.
Pin #1, 2, 3, and 6 are used for data transmission, while pins #4, 5, 7, and 8 provide power to the device.
The EPE-24R PoE generates safe power over category 5 cabling. By sending 24V, it can power Ethernet terminals such as wireless LAN access points, IP phones, and web cameras remotely.
It is specially designed for outdoor networking facilities with low port density installations.
