This clip-on window thermometer made of brushed stainless steel requires neither electricity nor toxic mercury. It is an elegant eye-catcher with a timeless design. The design comes from Isabel Hamm and Manfred von Heereman, and the realisation by the Mannheim-based design company Odin has been thought through down to the last detail. Installation is child's play: first attach the self-adhesive stainless steel clip to the window, press on the thermometer, click - done. It is just as easy to remove when you want to clean the window. The temperature scale is represented by 4 mm black digits on a 12.5 cm transparent polycarbonate disc with a stainless steel frame. This makes the thermometer extremely weather-resistant and prevents fogging. The precise bi-metal technology utilises the different thermal expansion of two metals. This means that the temperature is displayed with an accuracy of 1.5 °C from -40 to +50 °C.
