Product details

1- and 2-level radio repeater with a small antenna. Standby loss is only 0.6 watts. If needed, a radio antenna FA250 can be connected. It is a modular device for mounting on a DIN-EN 60715 TH35 rail. 1 modular unit = 18 mm wide, 58 mm deep. This repeater is only necessary if the structural conditions prevent uninterrupted reception or if the distance between the radio switch and receiver is too great. The FA250 antenna with 250 cm cable or FAG55E with 100 cm cable can be connected instead of the included small antenna. When optimally placed, this significantly increases the range. The 1-level mode is activated by default. It only receives, checks, and retransmits signals from sensors and actuators at full transmission power. Radio signals from other repeaters are ignored to reduce data volume. In a power-off state, the mode can be switched to 2-level mode using a rotary switch. After reapplying the supply voltage, the radio signals from another 1-level repeater will also be processed. A signal can thus be received and amplified a maximum of 2 times. Radio repeaters do not need to be taught. They receive and amplify signals from all radio sensors within their reception range. The LED under the rotary switch indicates all detected radio signals with a brief flash. The FRP14 radio repeater can either be mounted as a standalone device in a sub-distribution and requires a 12V power supply with a wide-range switching power supply, or it can be mounted to external radio actuators of series 14, with the power supply wiring done via a jumper. There is no connection to the bus; it is only looped through.
