Wireless outdoor motion brightness sensor, 84x84x39 mm, with solar cell. Smart Home Sensor. In its initial state, the energy storage is empty and must be charged in bright daylight for about 10 hours. Under normal ambient brightness (at least 200 Lux on average during the day), the energy from the integrated solar module is sufficient to power the sensor. The energy reserve stored in capacitors provides the energy needed for nighttime operation. The sensor does not require any installation depth behind the mounting plate and can be screwed onto any flat surface. The entire module can be pulled out of the frame for mounting. We recommend using stainless steel countersunk screws 2.9x25 mm, DIN 7982 C for attachment. It is compatible with both dowels 5x25 mm and 55 mm switch boxes. Two stainless steel countersunk screws 2.9x25 mm and dowels 5x25 mm are included. To pair with an actuator in learning mode, hold the included blue magnet or another available magnet against the side wall below the area marked with a square on the sensor. This will send a learning telegram. The sensor measures from 0 to 2000 Lux and sends a message to the Eltako building radio every 100 seconds when there is a brightness change of at least 10 Lux. Motion detection is immediately sent twice. The off message is sent after a fixed fallback delay of 1 minute. If there is no change, a status message is sent approximately every 20 minutes. During the learning process with actuators, the switching threshold is set, determining when the lighting will be turned on or off based on brightness. If a FABH detects motion, it will turn on. Only when all FABH learned into an actuator report no motion for one minute does the actuator's fallback delay potentially begin. Caution! When wall mounting, the FABH65S must be installed with the openings facing downwards.
