Far more than compact.

Sometimes living spaces do not allow for large-volume speakers. The compact UB52 bookshelf speaker impressively demonstrates that this does not have to mean a compromise in reproduction quality. With a 3-way, concentric chassis and bass-reflex design, the UB52 delivers a big sound that is impressive in every respect.

Concentric midrange-tweeter chassis.

The silk dome tweeter features an extended reproduction range towards high and low frequencies thanks to a modified surround geometry. The midrange driver has also been optimized: the embossed aluminum cone has a modified shape, and the voice coil diameter has been increased. This enhances performance in the important crossover area of the two transducers.

New woofer chassis.

The concave diaphragms of the woofers consist of a stamped piece of aluminum. The high rigidity, combined with the woofers' powerful magnet system, ensures impressively dynamic and accurate reproduction in the bass and lower midrange.

Perfected crossover.

The elaborately designed crossover of the Uni-Fi 2.0 series ensures optimal allocation of frequency bands and perfect interaction of the individual drivers, while also offering optimized linearization of the impedance curve.

Sophisticated cabinet design.

Oscillating surfaces or elements of a loudspeaker cabinet can negatively influence sound quality. To prevent unwanted coloration of the sound, the enclosures of the Uni-Fi 2.0 series, made of MDF, feature high wall thicknesses and specifically positioned internal bracing.

Front-positioned bass-reflex ports.

To make finding the perfect shelf and center speaker placement easier, both models feature front-positioned bass-reflex ports. This design helps avoid unwanted bass overboosting due to placement close to the rear wall, ensuring a balanced sound at all times.
