Center Speaker

A masterful sound panorama.

To reproduce a lifelike sound image, a full-fledged surround system requires a center speaker that can keep up with the power of the front speakers. The new Debut C5.2 creates a magnificent soundstage that brings movies and music to life. The bass reflex ports on the front allow for placement of the speaker on shelves or against the wall without compromising bass frequency reproduction.

New tweeter with deep-spheroid waveguide

The new silk dome tweeter features a highly flexible fabric surround and offers an extended frequency range up to 35,000 Hz for even more natural high-frequency reproduction. The waveguide enhances directivity and eliminates diffraction effects that are unavoidable in conventional rectangular enclosures.

New woofers with aramid fiber-reinforced diaphragm

The revised shape of the aramid fiber-reinforced cone diaphragm exhibits higher stiffness and excellent damping properties, far superior to those of polypropylene or paper drivers. The increased strength allows for greater design flexibility to achieve a smooth, extended frequency response.

Easier placement with new enclosures

The sturdy MDF enclosures with vinyl finish provide, thanks to internal bracing, greater stiffness and strength, significantly reducing cabinet vibrations and unwanted tonal coloration. By placing the bass reflex ports on the front of both the bookshelf and center speakers, the speakers can be positioned in bookshelves or against the wall without compromising bass reproduction.
