The VF9 is additionally equipped with a 14 hour timer. Operate this either as a lukewarm timer or response delay. Thus, you can program the start of the heater the night before and enter the next morning a warm construction site, barn, etc. Safety: El-Björn electric fan heater VF9 has a double overheating protection. Cheap electric heaters that are unfortunately sold in great numbers nowadays with serious consequences for the environment and consumers, have only a simple overheating protection. What does this mean? Specifically, when the room temperature reaches the °C value you set, the simply protected devices switch off. The residual heat in the device is not blown out. As the residual heat rises up the heating rods, this causes the switching elements and wiring to burn within a short time. This drastically reduces the life expectancy of the electric heater. Due to the double overheating protection of the El-Björn heater VF9, the residual heat of the heating rods is measured by means of an additional sensor head and, if necessary, blown out by the automatically switched-on fan. This prevents the heating rods and switching elements from burning up prematurely.
Operating modes of the El-Björn VF9: 1st switching stage at the heating stage switch: Only fan motor in operation. 2nd switching stage at the heating stage switch: Half heating power of 4.5 kW is activated. 3rd switching stage on the heating stage switch: Full heating power of 9.0 kW is activated. 4th switching step on the heating step switch: Device is completely switched off.
