Safety of the El-Björn VF21: The El-Björn VF21 electric heater fan features double overheating protection. Cheap electric heaters, which unfortunately are often sold today with serious consequences for the environment and consumers, only have a simple overheating protection. What does this mean in practice? When the room temperature reaches the °C value you have set, the simply protected devices turn off. The residual heat in the device is not expelled. Since the residual heat rises from the heating elements, this can quickly lead to the burning of the switching components and wiring. This drastically reduces the lifespan of the electric heater. With the double overheating protection of the El-Björn VF21 heater, the residual heat of the heating elements is measured by an additional sensor head and expelled by the automatically activated fan if necessary. This prevents premature burning out of the heating elements and switching components. If the power plug is pulled after several hours of operation, the cooling mechanism cannot take place, and the heater overheats.

Operating modes of the El-Björn VF21: 1. Switch position on the heating stage switch: Only the fan motor is in operation. This mode is recommended after intensive use of the heater fan. Let the fan run for 5 minutes to cool down the heating elements. 2. Switch position on the heating stage switch: Half heating power of 1.0 kW is activated. 3. Switch position on the heating stage switch: Full heating power of 2.15 kW is activated. 4. Switch position on the heating stage switch: Device is completely turned off.
