Eco Wood Art Icosahedron globe

The globe in icosahedral form features a secret compartment inside the sphere and a hidden mechanical locking mechanism. It is available in four colors: classic blue, bright red, black, and natural wood. The icosahedron is one of the five Platonic solids, specifically a regular polyhedron with 20 congruent equilateral triangles as faces, 30 edges of equal length, and 12 vertices where five faces meet.

Easy assembly without glue (pliers and a cutter/utility knife are recommended). Contents: Environmentally friendly birch plywood, wax, toothpicks, and a step-by-step assembly guide. Material: Wood, wax.

Tip: The model can be additionally painted with wood colors (not included). However, it is important that the joints are not glued with dried paint.

Please note: Assembly requires some manual dexterity, as the somewhat delicate components must occasionally be joined with controlled force. If handled too carelessly or roughly, individual parts may be irreparably damaged. As with other model-building parts, it is advisable to carefully review the assembly instructions, use less force, exercise more patience, and proceed precisely.

The environmentally friendly mechanical models, decorative puzzles, and toys made from renewable birch wood consist of plywood sheets. The respective sheets are created using laser cutting and are sometimes also decorated. The individual parts can be easily separated from the plywood sheets and assembled without the use of adhesives. The mechanical functions are realized with rubber bands (e.g., wind-up motors) or gears, bringing them to life with movement. Those who wish can even paint the objects with wood color, making them even more personalized.
