If handled too carelessly or roughly, individual parts can be irreparably damaged. The eco-friendly mechanical models, decorative puzzles, and toys made from renewable birch wood consist of plywood sheets. The individual parts can be easily separated from the plywood sheets and assembled without the use of adhesives. The mechanical functions are realized with rubber bands (e.g., wind-up motors) or gears, bringing them to life with movement.
