Eco Wood Art DaVinci Tank

This mechanically wind-up and historical 3D puzzle is a model based on the idea of an armored vehicle designed by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1987. The original concept was to create vehicles strong enough to transport heavy weapons while also protecting the occupants from attacks. The rotating rubber band mechanism and the system of wooden gears ensure that the model moves as the great inventor intended. Here you have the opportunity to recreate an idea from Leonardo Da Vinci himself.

Contents: Eco-friendly birch plywood, rubber bands, wax, wooden dowels, clamp, toothpicks, sandpaper, and a step-by-step building instruction.

Tip: The model can be additionally painted with wood colors (not included). However, it is important that the joints are not glued together with dried paint. Please note: Assembly requires some craftsmanship, as the sometimes delicate parts need to be joined with controlled force. The same principle applies as with other model building parts: "Carefully look at the instructions, use less force, more patience, and proceed precisely."

The eco-friendly mechanical models, decorative puzzles, and toys made from renewable birch wood consist of plywood sheets. The respective sheets are created using laser cutting and are sometimes also decorated. The individual parts can be easily separated from the plywood sheets and assembled without the use of adhesives. The mechanical functions are realized with rubber bands (e.g., wind-up motors) or gears, bringing them to life with movement.
