Product details

The Eaton fire protection switch is the only proven technology for protecting against fires caused by series arc faults. In addition to circuit breakers or residual current circuit breakers, fire protection switches detect parallel and series arc faults by continuously measuring the high-frequency noise of voltage and current for their intensity, duration, and the gaps in between. Integrated filters with intelligent software analyze these signals and trigger the disconnection of the connected circuit within fractions of a second in case of anomalies. The use of fire protection switches is particularly recommended in residential buildings, public buildings, libraries, museums, and fire-risk workplaces.
