Dreambox Triple Hybrid Tuner (2 x DVB-S/S2X / 1 x DVB-C/T/T2)

Compact size, low heat generation, and low energy consumption: These are the hallmarks of the new Triple Hybrid Silicon Tuner (2xS2X / 1xC/T2) for Dreamboxes with Enigma2. Equipped with the latest technology from semiconductor expert Silicon Labs, the Triple Hybrid Tuner expands the reception capabilities of the Dreambox.

The Triple Hybrid Silicon Tuner (2xS2X / 1xC/T2) is compatible with the Dreamboxes DM820HD, DM7080HD, and DM900UHD. In no time, the Dreamboxes transform into a powerful Twin-SAT receiver with an additional DVB-T/T2 or DVB-C tuner. The DM7080HD increases its potential to up to five inputs with the new Silicon Tuner.

The Plug & Play tuner features two DVB-S/S2X inputs and an additional DVB-C/T/T2 hybrid input, which is simply inserted into the designated slot. Upon the next startup, the Dreambox automatically recognizes the new tuner and configures it. Further settings can then be made in the Dreambox menu.

The new Triple Tuner design from Silicon Labs not only enables blind scanning with the Dreambox but also channel scans at previously unattainable speeds. Even if the tuner is supplied with TV and radio signals via a single cable, programs from one transponder can be recorded while simultaneously watching others.
