The fiber optic installation cable UCFibre O ST D DA PE 5.0kN 48 SM2D is a fiber optic cable designed as a twisted bundle conductor with gel-filled bundle conductor construction for structured cabling with 48 fibers of Singlemode OS2. The cable is UV resistant, metal-free, longitudinally water-resistant, and rodent-protected with a tensile strength of 5.0 kN. The sheath is made of Compact PE material in Euroclass NPD and is suitable for outdoor use.

The twisted bundle conductor arrangement of the fibers allows for a compact and high fiber concentration cable design. The fiber optic cable exceeds the requirements of EN 50 173-1, ISO 11801 2nd edition, IEC 60794-2.
