Product details
Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB) disconnect the power supply when dangerously high fault currents occur, thereby protecting people, animals, and equipment. DFS 2 are two-pole residual current circuit breakers for single-phase networks. The large double-deck terminals can accommodate large conductor cross-sections. The tripped position of the multifunction switch knob facilitates troubleshooting. Type A switches are sensitive to pulsating and alternating currents. This function is independent of the mains voltage. Residual current circuit breakers in KV version (KV for short-time delayed) are significantly less sensitive to short-term impulse-like surge and fault currents, thus increasing the availability of the system. The additional protection (personal protection) is maintained. The short-time delayed switches can therefore be easily used in place of a standard switch.
Features:
- Pulsating and alternating current sensitive, independent of mains voltage
- High immunity to surge fault currents and mains voltage-driven follow current impulses
- Low power loss per pole
- VDE certified
- Mains and auxiliary voltage independent tripping
- Sensitive to alternating and pulsating direct fault currents (Type A)
- Compact size for all rated currents
- High short-circuit resistance
- Double-deck terminals on both sides for large conductor cross-sections and rail connection
- Switching position indicator
- Viewing window for labeling stickers
- Multifunction switch knob with three positions: On - Off - Tripped
- Neutral conductor position adjustable
- Quick mounting on mounting rail, installation position adjustable, feed direction adjustable
