The 0.25 meter (25 cm) long Category 6 Ethernet cable transmits data at speeds of up to 1000 Mbit/s (1 Gbit/s), for example, for fiber-optic internet speeds in home networks. CAT.6 LAN cables (Class E) provide excellent connection properties for Gigabit networks in both private and corporate networks, with a maximum bandwidth of 250 MHz.
