The LC/APC fibre optic field connectors are used to connect fibre optic cables and for service repairs at various network levels. They completely eliminate the need for manual polishing of connector end faces or on-site splicing. The mechanical splicing technology ensures precise fibre alignment and provides an instant termination with low loss for singlemode optical fibres. The attenuation achieved does not exceed 0.3 dB. The connectors can be used in all optical networks where a UPC connector is required. It is suitable for optical cabling in primary/secondary/tertiary cabling and for use in FTTx networks.
