Digitus Fusion splicer

The compact Fusion Splicer from Digitus can be operated either on battery power or with an external power supply and is suitable for the installation and maintenance of a variety of optical fibers. The device operates with precision motors and high-speed image processing, enabling fast and automated splicing processes of high quality. The 3.5-inch LCD screen allows you to monitor every step of the splicing process. Both the X and Y axes can be displayed individually or together. It supports multimode fibers (MMF/G.651), singlemode fibers (SMF/G.652), dispersion-shifted fibers (DSF/G.653), non-zero dispersion-shifted fibers (NZDSF/G.655), and bend-insensitive fibers (such as BIF/G.657). The device includes an integrated cleaver (fiber cutter). The splicer is used in construction, for maintenance work, and for repairing backbone cables. Its lightweight design makes it ideal for transport, and a carrying case is included. Possible applications include scientific institutions, telecommunications companies, broadcasting and television, public transport, power plants, and military use. Also included are a fiber holder, cleaver (fiber cutting device), cooling tray, stripping tool, power supply, and USB cable.
