The SC/UPC LWL field connectors are used for connecting fiber optic cables and for repairs in service cases at various network levels. They completely eliminate the need for manual polishing of connector end faces or on-site splicing. The mechanical splicing technology ensures precise fiber alignment and provides an immediate connection with low loss for optical single-mode fibers. The achieved attenuation does not exceed 0.3 dB. The connectors can be used in all optical networks where a UPC connector is required. They are suitable for optical cabling in primary, secondary, and tertiary cabling as well as for use in FTTx networks.
