PoE is preferably used when there is no power supply available at the operating location, allowing suitable devices to be powered simultaneously through the incoming network cable. This PoE injector complies with the Gigabit Ethernet standard with a data transfer rate of 1 GBit/s and has a maximum output voltage of 48 V, as well as a power output of 15.4 W. The plastic housing contains two RJ45 sockets and a cold device connection. Power is supplied via pins 4/5(+) and 7/8(-) through the designated "PoE" network socket. The PoE output features current limitation, short circuit protection, and automatic device detection and classification. The injector itself has a maximum power consumption of 1.6 watts. A cold device connection cable is included in the delivery.
